Combined 24 hour clock and programmable timeswitch with two independently settable relay outputs. A 4-digit 12.7mm red LED display shows current time and is also used for program setting and checking. The circuit is microcontroller based for accuracy and reliability.
Two push buttons are used to set the clock time and the activation times of the two relay outputs (in Hours and Minutes). Each relay output can be set to perform one On/Off cycle every 24 hours. On/Off activation times of each output are programmed independently. You could, for example, set Relay1 to come on at 07:15 and off at 08:20 and Relay2 come on at 17:33 and off at 23:59.
The two central decimal points flash every second and each outer decimal point lights when it's corresponding relay is on.
An optional battery backup input is provided for a PP3 battery. This will allow the board to retain the clock and relay activations time settings in the event of a power outage.
Useful in a wide variety of control applications including hyroponics, irrigation, opening vents, access control or even periodically reversing the polarity of a DC supply voltage e.g. to a DC motor (see connection diagram).
Kit version includes solder for assembly.
