This simple but useful board is available as an electronic kit or pre-assembled module and is designed to monitor temperature and switch the onboard relay (rated 230Vac, 1A or 110Vac, 2A) at a given temperature. Trigger temperature is adjustable from +20 to +70°C.
It uses a very sensitive M3 threaded thermistor and is far more accurate and responsive to temperature changes than its mechanical equivalent. This can be very important when used for overheat protection.
Can be used in power amplifiers to turn a fan on if the output transistors get too hot, in photographic laboratories to control the temperature of baths, aquariums etc. The temperature sensor has an M3 thread and nut for easy attachment.
