1000W Leisure Power Inverter, 12Vdc to 230Vac (RPI566)

Regulated 1000 Watt power inverter for 230Vac equipment via a 12V car or boat battery. This High performance (> 90%) power inverter generates very little heat and has a high stability output frequency.

Designed for light leisure use and suitable for powering electrical equipment such as portable TVs, videos, lamps, small pumps and battery chargers, etc. Please refer to our Power Inverter Selection Guide for help choosing the correct wattage model for your application.

We recommend the SSI638 or SSI668 for heavier use and inductive loads like energy bulbs and motor driven appliances (electric drills, fridges, freezers, etc.) as these can have considerably higher start-up/load currents than their rated value would indicate. The inverter will NOT operate high wattage appliances or equipment that produce heat, such as hair dryers, microwave ovens and toasters.

This inverter generates a modified sine wave, which is suitable for powering most equipment and is considerably superior to the square waves which are produced by most other inverters.
