ABC Edit Software

This easily programmable software includes a True Basic Compiler, Assembler, Programming with on-screen results and a ABC Atmel AVR Mini Board package. The software runs on Windows 95, Windows '98, Windows ME and NT. A DOS version compiler is also supplied.

This user friendly software interfaces with ALL of the required tools on our ABC Boards to enable you to get started quickly without a time consuming learning curve.

Included in ABCEdit is:

• Basic Compiler Optimised for the ABC Boards

• Assembler with C like mathematics

• Programming with on-screen results and Help

• ABC Atmel AVR Mini Board package inbuilt

• Full Help inbuilt and the option of modifying and adding your own help notes

• DOS version Assembler and Basic Compiler

The development system is open architecture, e.g. abclib.asm is supplied. The Basic Compiler has fully featured commands to make using the 8535 simpler. Inline Assembly is also fully supported. The Harvard type architecture for a compiler has been taken care of as well. You are NOT restricted in any way. Listings may be produced in many ways so that you can see the actual code produced by the Basic.

All software is included in the ABC Atmel AVR Mini and Maxi Atmel AVR Starter Kits. The Compiler and Assembler can also be used for other purposes if you wish to. To download a freeware version please visit our ABC Atmel AVR Downloads page.

ABC Atmel AVR Mini Board Add-On Boards

The ABC Atmel AVR Mini Board (aka Hotchip) can be expanded into a very flexible development and training system using various Add-on Boards.

All of the ABC Atmel AVR Add-on Boards are designed to be connected with the ABC Atmel AVR Mini Board via the Mini Board Motherboard Module. They can be purchased as separate boards or as a complete kit called the 'ABC AVR Educational Workshop'. more
