Sales Tax Information |
British sales tax is called VAT and is applied at a
rate of 17.5% to all orders that are invoiced and despatched to destinations
within the European Union (EU) unless you are registered for VAT and
supply us with a written order showing your VAT/TVA/IVA/VIES/BTW/MIAS
number. You do NOT have to pay VAT if you want goods invoiced and shipped to destination countries outside the EU.

Website Prices |
All of the prices shown on the shopping pages of our
website include 17.5% VAT (Sales Tax) except for Shipping and Banking
Charges which have already had the VAT deducted or added as appropriate
for the area that they cover. You can calculate the price of goods without the sales tax by dividing them by 1.175. You can also use our online shopping facility to generate a quote for you. Click here for full details.

Shopping Cart Prices |
Shopping Cart prices do NOT include 17.5% VAT (sales
tax). This will be added to all orders for shipment to UK and EU destinations
at the Confirm and Submit stage of the online ordering process.
This is because the Shopping Cart takes your shipping destination into
account and then adds the 17.5% VAT only if you live in an EU member
country.

Currency |
All prices quoted in our online catalogue, printed catalogue
and advertisements are in British Pounds Sterling (which we have abbreviated
