You card payment is processed by Protx, a leading UK payment gateway provider (similar to WorldPay). You enter your card details directly into their secure screen and the details are then securely routed to your card issuing bank for instant verification and payment approval.

Unlike more traditional faxed, mailed or telephoned orders, we will not even get to see your card details when you order online!

As you browse through our online catalogue you simply select the items you require by clicking on the 'BUY' buttons. Each time you add an item you will be taken to your personal Shopping Cart page (or trolley as we like to call them in the UK). This will display all of the items you have chosen so far. Please note that prices shown here do NOT include 20.0% VAT (UK sales tax). This will be added to all orders for shipment to UK and EU destinations at the confirm and submit order stage. You can view the contents of your cart at anytime by clicking the 'View Cart' button near the top of the left-hand column that appears in all of our web pages.

Within the Shopping Cart page you can change the quantity ordered or delete items as required. There are also three hyperlinks at the bottom of the page:

Use 'RECALCULATE' when you increase or decrease the quantity of a product ordered. This will recalculate the Extended price column.

Choose 'CONTINUE SHOPPING' to continue browsing the catalogue and adding more items as desired.

Once you have finished shopping you must choose the appropriate Postage option from the drop down menu (under TOTAL). Note that applicable taxes have been calculated based on your shipping location. 20.0% VAT (UK sales tax) is added to all orders for EU destinations (you may find that there is a VAT rounding up/down difference of one pence to the total amount). The Total amount chargeable to your card is shown in British Pounds Sterling. You can also add any special instructions in the box provided.

Now click the 'GO TO PAYMENTS' button. You will be taken to the page where you must must provide the correct registered card holders name and address in the "Billing information" section otherwise the transaction will be declined or delayed. You can enter a different address for delivery in the "Shipping address (if different)" section (we reserve the right to refuse an order if we consider it to be an unacceptable security risk). Make sure both boxes have a tick in them and press the "CONTINUE" button.

Select the top "CONTINUE" button to make the payment by card or the bottom "CONTINUE" button to make the payment by PayPal.

If paying by card, you will be taken to the the Protx Secure Server form where you fill in your card details. Press the 'Proceed' button to initiate card payment authorisation and complete your order.

PLEASE NOTE: A full security check is performed on ALL internet orders before the goods are despatched. You must only provide the registered card holders address for delivery otherwise the transaction will later be declined or delayed. Incorrect cardholder names and cardholder addresses will delay the despatch of your goods. Remember, these checks help to protect both you and us from improper card use.

Browse through our online catalogue, adding the items you require to your cart. Once you have finished shopping you can proceed to the next stage of the process by clicking the 'Order Checkout' button. You will be taken to the Secure Online Order Form where you fill in:

• The cardholders name (card must be in your name)
• The registered cardholders address (see note below)
• Your country (this must be entered for the system to calculate sales taxes correctly. If you live outside the EC you do NOT have to pay the 20.0% UK sales tax).
• Your shipping requirements (please make sure you select one of the options for YOUR country).
• Your card details.

PLEASE NOTE: A full security check is performed on ALL internet orders before the goods are despatched. You must only provide the registered card holders address for delivery otherwise the transaction will later be declined. Incorrect card numbers, cardholder names and cardholder addresses will delay the despatch of your goods. Remember, these checks help to protect both you and us from improper card use.

Press the 'Confirm Order' button and you will be taken to the Confirm and Submit Your Order page which shows the Total Payment due. Do NOT press the 'Submit Secured Order' button or you will actually place the order! Instead, print the order form (right click to print/save) and send it to us with your payment or credit/debit/Amex card details.

If a cookie message appears then our server is unable to read a cookie from your browser. This cookie is set every time we are unable to read it. Some of the reasons for cookies not working are:

1. The date and time set on the customer computer is not correct. Make sure the computer date and time is set correctly.
2. Cookies are not enabled in the browser. Note: In Microsoft I.E. there are two cookie options "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer" and "Allow per-session cookies (not stored)." We use stored cookies. Also cookies can be enabled or disabled for different zones: "Internet", "Local Internet", "Trusted Sites" and "Restricted Sites." Click here for further help
3. Personal Firewall technology installed on the local computer. This could be something like Norton Personal Firewall or McAfee Firewall....
4. Remote Firewall or Proxy Servers that are set to block cookies.
5. Cache problem or bug. Try clearing the browser or proxy server cache.

There may be a few other reasons, but they all deal directly with one issue, that a cookie is not set in the customer's browser.
