4 relay outputs operate in sequence to provide a chasing effect. Manual or Automatic operating modes. Circuit activates each relay in turn. As the next relay activates, the previous one turns off. The relays activate in sequence in a continuous loop.
MANUAL Mode:
In Manual mode the relays are triggered by external impulses (a simple volt-free contact closure).The sequence advances by one step only regardless of the input duration. The board will advance to the next relay and turn off the previous relay each time a fresh trigger input is received.
AUTOMATIC Mode:
In Automatic mode the module automatically and continuously steps through the relays in sequence (1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, etc.) when power is applied. The "step" interval time period can be adjusted between about 0.3 and 10 seconds.
A Reset input (contact closure operation) returns the current sequence to the Relay 1 position. In Automatic Mode, it will remain at this position until the Reset input is released.
The module has no memory function and will always start from the Relay 1 position when powered-up or reset.
The board has protection against inverse polarity, indicator output LEDs for each relay and screw terminal connectors.
