Hyper Peppy II Robot Kit
HYPER
PEPPY is a robot with a built-in sensor which reacts to vibration from sound
or physical contact. It moves forward but when it senses a high pitched
noise (such as a hand clap) or vibration from physical contact with an
obstacles, it retreats by reversing and turning left for a preset time and
then continues forward on a new course. You will enjoy its chirpy movements.
You can learn the mechanism of sound sensor and the ratchet mechanism. Great for children over 10 years old with adult supervision.
Two versions are available - pre-soldered or unsoldered electronic control board. A selection of small hand tools is required for assembly (for example Order Code HTK293 for both versions. You may also wish to look at the SOL939 - Soldering Set for the Electronics Hobbyist or HTK300 - Electronic Hobbyist Tool Kit for the unsoldered version.
