Can be used to set-up an invisible security system using infrared (IR)
beams. When the beam is broken (or the power supply cut) the relay is tripped. This can be used to sound a bell, alarm
or other device.
It can be used for detecting customers entering a shop or vehicles coming up a driveway, etc, etc. Can also be combined with our LED Counter kit 3129 to count people or other objects as they break the beam.
The kit consists of two separate PCBs - a transmitter board and a receiver board. The beam is very powerful and distances over 15 metres can be monitored with this kit (considerably less in direct sunlight). Recommended for indoor use.
