This
compact 8-bit PC driven data logger monitors voltage changes over periods
ranging from milliseconds to months. It uses the ADC0804 8-bit A/D converter
IC.
It can be used as a simple low frequency digital 'scope' to examine audio and other signals up to about 5KHz. Switch selectable 2V or 20V ranges. No batteries are required as it is powered from the computer's parallel port. This new Mark II version is designed for compatibility with the new PC parallel port standards.
The complete sampler is built on a double sided PTH PCB. This fits neatly inside the extended D-shell case provided. A printed front panel is used to identify the Input socket and Voltage Range selector switch.
