Super value PIC programmer covering a wide range of 8 to 40 pin serial-mode programmed microcontrollers. It connects to the PC parallel port (EPP, ECP, SPP) and is designed for use with the P16PRO DOS or PICALLW WINDOWS software detailed below.

For the FULL list of supported devices please refer to the drop down menu in the latest version of the software (having first select P16PRO not PICALL). You can also add new devices by simply changing the DEVICE.INI file.

Software

The P16PRO hardware is supported by P16PRO DOS and PICALLW Windows software. These programs will work under DOS and all versions of Windows except NT/XP (we have found problems running this hardware on faster PCs and Windows XP - use 3128,3144, 3149, 3150 or 3182 instead). It can also run under LINUX (click for details). The software is now supplied as fully functional FREEWARE with no licence fee payable.

The Windows version will not increase the range of devices that can be programmed but the software is more user friendly if you are used to working in a Windows based environment.

Please note that the P16PRO hardware (this kit 3096) will not program all of the devices listed in the software (you will need our 3117 or 3144 programmer instead).
