sound via fibre optic cable. Fibre optic cable is immune to interference
from electrically noisy environments so this kit is great for applications
where interference-free voice communication is required.
Circuit uses a matched transmitter & receiver pair. Transmitter board uses a microphone & IC to modulate a LED. Receiver board demodulates the light signal & drives the speaker provided.
4.25 metre fibre optic cable supplied but boards will drive over 150m of cable if required.
