3017 - LM386 Mono Audio Amplifier Module

Tiny, battery powered, variable gain mono audio amplifier using the LM386 IC. Perfect building block in other projects e.g. radio & TV sound system amplifiers, intercoms, line drivers, ultrasonic & servo drivers, voltage converters, small passive speakers, etc.

Ideal for battery operation with it's wide operating supply (4 - 12Vdc) and low quiescent current drain. Volume control pot. LED ON indicator. On/Off switch. Jumper for settable voltage gain of 20 or 200 (26/46dB).

Pre-Amp Kit 3098 is designed specifically for use with this kit where you have an input signal of insufficient amplitude.
