A
small but powerful FM transmitter consisting of an audio preamplifier stage
and three RF stages with a BFS22A transistor or similar in the final stage.
It can be used with the electret microphone supplied or any line level audio source e.g. a CD or tape OUT, mixing deck, computer sound card or audio mixer like kit 1052. Audio input sensitivity is adjustable.
It delivers up to 3 Watts of RF power to the antenna which can be an open dipole or ground plane.
Ideal project for the beginner who wants to get started in the fascinating world of FM broadcasting and wants a simple but robust circuit to experiment with.
